Read the result: comfortably positive means your bank balance is roughly your real room; small means you are less liquid than your balance suggests, so prioritize a reserve; negative is a serious red flag, meaning you are holding less free money than the restricted balances you are supposed to be preserving, which almost always means restricted money has already been spent on operations.
If true available cash is negative, stop. Do not quietly correct it. This is a legal and reporting matter: route to a nonprofit accountant now, and keep working the restricted-funds guide with them alongside you. A spent restriction is the most serious financial edge in this pathway.
