Owning a process means making sure the standard is right, current, followed, and that others can do the work. It does not mean being the only one who can do it; an owner who becomes the sole doer has recreated the key-person problem this work exists to solve.

Set a review rhythm

How often each standard is reviewed and refreshed (for example, yearly, or after anything changes)

Who triggers the review (usually the owner)

A standard with no owner drifts out of date and dies; an owner with no review rhythm forgets. Both are needed. Feeds the Put-It-Into-Use Guide.
