Find the weak seams in a drafted mission before you adopt it, by putting it in front of the people who will have to carry it.
Take the draft to four groups: your staff, your full board, a few trusted funders or partners, and, if you can, someone you serve. Ask each the same three questions and record every answer, especially the objections.
