Mission-Essential Function and Relationship Map.

Decide which functions must keep running through any loss, then find what of each lives in one person alone, so you capture what matters most, fastest.

First in Capture What Only the Leader Holds, before you build the handoff pack.

Part A. Name what must not stop

List the functions the organization must keep running through any loss, ranked by how much damage stopping would do. These come ahead of everything that could pause for a month without real harm.

Part B. Find what one person holds

For each essential function, name the knowledge, relationships, and access it depends on that live in a single head.

This map is your capture list, in priority order. The functions ranked highest, with the most one-person dependencies, are what the handoff pack captures first. Anything that could pause for a month without harm does not belong in the emergency pack, and trying to capture everything is how nothing gets captured in time. Feeds the Emergency Handoff Pack.
