Mission Drift Review.

Put a scheduled moment on the calendar to look for drift on purpose, because a mission leaks slowly and never sounds an alarm on its own.

The drift signals

1. What did we say yes to since the last review, and did each one pass the filter?

2. Where did our money come from, and what did it ask us to do that we would not otherwise?

3. Does our current work still match the mission, or has a gap opened?

This review recurs every (at least twice a year), owned by

The board sees it at least once a year (yes / no)

First review verdict: on course, early drift, or real drift

If drift: a stale mission routes back to Clarify the Mission; loosened priorities or filter route to Set Direction; a mission that has stopped driving decisions means re-running the embedding steps. Whether your programs actually change lives is a deeper measurement discipline and lives in the impact work.
