Grant Dependence and Fit Reality Check.

Force two honest reads that decide more than any feeling: whether the grants you chase fit your mission, and whether you lean on grants so heavily they have become a risk.

After the diagnostic finding, to confirm or reorder it and to surface any parallel routes. Where a number is worse than your gut said, trust the number.

Part A. Fit

Honest read: if you often chased misfit grants, or often felt pulled off course, add the mission work, the discipline to decline money that does not fit, as a parallel route to mission clarity and strategic direction.

Part B. Dependence

The single largest is the number that matters most, because it is what you lose if that one funder walks. If your single largest grant is more than about a fifth of the budget, or grants together are more than about half, that concentration is a real risk. Add diversification, the individual-giving and earned-revenue work, and the resilience planning in the continuity work.

Part C. Record
