Good early warning is a few signals, watched on a rhythm, each with a line that means act now. If a signal has no worry line, you will watch it cross into danger without noticing. If it lives nowhere you look, it is not a warning. The point is not to track everything; it is to see the one or two shocks that announce themselves before they land.
