Get the emergency plan formally adopted by the board, so it carries real authority, and make sure the people who would have to act know their part.
The adoption step of Write, Adopt, and Maintain the Emergency Plan, at a board meeting.
Before the meeting
At the meeting
After the meeting
The plan is real when the board has adopted it by formal action, recorded it, and the people who would act know their part. Until the vote, it is a proposal, and a proposal has no authority in a crisis. If any after-the-meeting box is unchecked, the plan exists but the people who need it may not know it does. Followed by the Plan Maintenance and Review.
