Access Control Record.

Make sure the organization, not one person, can reach every critical account and record, and keep a secure record of how, so authority is not useless for lack of access.

In Secure Authority and Access, after backup authority is set, for every critical account on your inventory.

For each critical account or record, secure a second route in and record it. Store passwords in a secure, organization-controlled password manager, never in the open in this record.

The three checks

The test is simple: if the key person vanished tomorrow, could the organization get into every critical account and record without them. When the answer is yes for every row, access is no longer a single point of failure. Its location is named in the Emergency Succession Plan and the Emergency Handoff Pack.
